Mike McCrory is a master craftsman with an extremely popular YouTube channel demonstrating his ability to plan and build outstanding products out of wood. Titled Wood U Make It, as of November 2020 he has nearly 70,000 subscribers. Mike figured out what no other craftsman could: how to make a 2-sided 10x8 and 8x8 board out of wood. On one side, you can play the 10x8 variant invented by Ed Trice. On the other side, the older 8x8 game of chess can be played. The board is made out of walnut, hardwood ash, and tiger maple. Each board is serialized. Board 001 was sold to Ed Trice. You can see a video of the entire construction of the board, step by step, here:
